Yes. Paid plans start with a 14-day trial. Checkout collects a card. Cancel before day 14 and you are not charged. Free does not require a card.
Free stays open. If a paid trial ends without an active subscription, the dashboard locks and the website widget stops (the public script and config return 402). Owners upgrade from Billing. Agents see a locked message.
Per workspace. The plan includes seats. Extra seats $6 each after that on Mini and up. Conversations are unlimited on every plan.
Yes. Yearly is two months free — Mini $396, Essentials $888, Plus $2196, billed once.
No. Cove Agent on Plus drafts from published help articles and macros. If nothing matches, you get an error. A person still sends. Visitors can always talk to a person.

No. EU businesses enter a VAT number and we drop it. Outside the EU we do not charge VAT.

Desk operators can sign in with Google or Microsoft (OpenID Connect), plus email magic link, password, and authenticator 2FA. A Google or Microsoft account does not join a workspace by itself — someone has to invite you, or you create your own. Company SAML is not listed on this page. See security.
Plus lists higher rate limits than lower plans. We do not publish a number on the pricing page — treat it as headroom, not a guaranteed RPS figure.
