Cove is a live chat widget and a shared inbox. A workspace is the company desk: one widget key, one inbox, one set of articles.
Open an account
Go to signup. Use the email you want billing and invites to land on. Name the workspace after the company visitors already know — that name shows in the inbox and on public help.
You can stay on Free, or start a 14-day trial of Mini, Essentials, or Plus from pricing. Checkout is Dodo. Plus adds article-grounded drafts. WhatsApp, a customer portal, and phone callbacks are in Settings on every paid path that lists those screens.
What you have on day one
- Widget settings and a public site key.
- A shared inbox. Conversations appear when someone writes from the widget.
- Help center. Drafts stay private until you publish.
- Team settings. Invite people before you put the snippet on production.
Who should click around first
Owners bill and can change the workspace. Admins can change the widget and team. Agents reply. If you are the only person, you are the owner — that is enough to install and answer.
